This is necessary for all visualisation types. I'm currently displaying a box plot trellised by endpoint type, and all the different endpoints have different scales. It makes absolutely no sense to display them with the same scale.

Hi folks, have you seen the latest Well Log visualization mod? I believe it might achieve a lot of what you're looking for in vertical line plots with differing x axis: https://github.com/TIBCOSoftware/spotfire-mod-welllog

it is very much needed in the Oil and Gas industry. Please try to fast track this request

One of my customers also wants this.

Working in the oil & gas industry and specifically with the drilling side of the industry, we constantly evaluate drilling parameters and data vertically in side by side traces. In my case I usually require to have a separate variable for each chart's x-axis but the same variable for all charts in the y-axis. Being able to do a trellis in this case would help me color code and add/remove relevant traces for interactive presentations and group discussions in the industry. Currently i do this in a horizontal style with Trellis, but the larger number of people in the industry evaluate vertically. Please see attached

This is so important when you have a variable number of things that need to be plotted separately but have varying scales. For example, I have between 1 and 4 items (depending on user selection) that need to be plotted with separate scales and I can't do that.

I suspect this is similar to other requests where we would like each trellis panel to have its own X-axis scale.  That way if I trellis by a category of which I have many, then the X-axis of all the panels won't be huge and empty.

Trellis Bar Chart Category Axis eliminate nulls

Filter out zeros from trellised bar chart

When trellising a bar chart, it would really useful to be able to remove/filter out categories that are zero in other trellis panels, to avoid cluttering sparse trellises with all the categories in use. This issue can be painfully viewed in the at...
